About the event

Heather Hutsell started writing at a young age and knew that becoming a published author was her dream. Her first book, Awakening Alice was written as a sequel to Lewis Carroll’s Alice in Wonderland followed by her second book and Awakening Alice's sequel, A Ticket for Patience.  She has since written twelve additional novels, two novellas, and five  short story collections. Additionally, she has written two historical  documentary series (Indian Wars: A Change in Worlds, and Emancipation Road,) and a number of human interest articles.

She recently completed the micro-fiction collection, 366 Tales: Stories Year Round,  the result of a challenge to write one 1-page story a day for a year.  Genres run from heartwarming to thought-provoking, to just flat-out  weird.

Newly released is her paranormal novella, Nevermore, Inc. and  soon, and soon to follow will be a collection of Autumn and October  influenced poems. She is currently working on her first memoir, Horse Legs and Other Lunchbox Mysteries.

Nevermore, Inc.: With only the Mother Bride, just as  inexperienced as they to guide them, the ghost brides are on the hunt  for the one destined to share their love. They go into the world between  life and death, taken there by their own actions, in the hopes that  once they catch his essence on the ever-changing æther, they will find  and be with him for all eternity. No ghost bride searching for her true  love is safe, however, from the brotherhood of Nevermore, Inc., but that doesn't stop them from taking the risk of falling into a trap from which there is no return. 366 Tales is a collection of 1-page stories, spanning the  spectrum of genres–funny, heart-warming, bone-chilling,  thought-provoking, and just plain weird!
