Werner Books is a new and used bookstore located in the Liberty Plaza in Erie, PA. Our store was founded by Gayle Werner in 2010. She brought decades of experience and a passion for reading to Northwest PA and ultimately decided to retire in 2022.

Kyle Churman and Lauren Shoemaker purchased the store and could not be more excited to be in the book business. We hope to continue Gayle's legacy of community engagement and supporting the love of reading in Erie.

Our new location is still in the Liberty Plaza, but has more than doubled in size. We also offer a full service cafe and plenty of seating areas to work, meet, and study.

Our staff has been with the store for many years and we are so happy to have them. They are always eager to help find the perfect book for you.
