Read a Poem to a Child Saturday, September 28 from 10 AM - 12:30 PM

Read  A Poem To A Child is a 100 Thousand Poets for Change literacy  initiative introducing children to poetry. All you have to do to  contribute to this initiative is to read poetry to a child, and that's  where this event comes in!

Three  local poets - Barbara Crone, Thasia Anne, Cathi Gg Mitchell - will be  at Werner Books & Coffee on Saturday, September 28 from 10 AM -  12:30 PM to read fun poems to children to celebrate this event.

We welcome poetry lovers, teachers, parents, and friends to help introduce children to the beauty and joy of poetry!
