Kids Event! Meet the WQLN STREAM Team

Meet the STREAM Team Saturday, March 25 11 AM - 1 PM

Meet the team from WQLN's STREAM Machine! This event is perfect for families with children in kindergarten through second grade. The first 40 families will receive a free STREAM Kit! The theme of March's Kit is "neighborhood" and features the PBS KIDS show Alma's Way! Don't miss this amazing event for kids!

The STREAM Machine is WQLN's mobile outreach vehicle, the name an acronym for Science, Technology, Reading, Engineering, Arts, and Math. Featuring hands-on lessons featuring all of those subjects, its goal is to get kids excited about learning with pop-up classrooms that travel to community center parking lots, playgrounds, community events, and neighborhoods. The STREAM Machine is stocked with STREAM kits, as well as PBS KIDS books donated by Hooked on Books for Kids.
