Join Chuck Joy as he presents poet Philip Terman for a live reading followed by an open mic!
Philip Terman is a retired professor of creative writing and literature from PennWest: Clarion University where he directed The Spoken Arts Reading Series and advised the literary journal, Tobeco. He is the author of eight books and four chapbooks, including the forthcoming The Whole Mishpocha: New and Selected Jewish Poems, and his poems have appeared in many journals and anthologies and have also been featured on Garrison Keillor's Writer's Almanac and Poetry Daily.
In collaboration with writer and translator Saleh Razzouk, Philip translated Arabic poets' works and has also translated a selection of his own poems into Arabic. He is also proud to have collaborated on a family memoir with his sister, performances with jazz pianist and composer…
