Al Detter was Senior Pastor of Grace Church, Erie, for 32 years. For the past ten years, he has had 5 interim pastorates in Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Western New York. He and his wife, Marie, have four adult children and eight grandchildren. He leads tours to Israel (in peacetime) and enjoys his '69 Camaro.
