Book Reading & Signing Peace To You Too, Brother: Updated Edition with Chuck Pora Sunday, December 17 from 12 - 2 PM

Local author Chuck Pora has announced that he has released an updated edition of his poignant Vietnam War era novel Peace to You Too, Brother. Chuck will be doing a reading from the updated edition at Werner Books on Sunday, Dec. 17th from 12 to 2 p.m., along with a signing afterward. A free cup of coffee from Werner Books' cafe will be provided to everyone who attends the reading. "Peace to You Too, Brother" is a historical novel that takes place during the trying and turbulent Sixties, and provides the reader with an education on the origin and significant events of the war, along with its effects on the American public. Additional historical events and expanded scenes are included in the update. The story conveys the struggles of three young people growing up in Erie, Pennsylvania who are attempting to build their futures, but the war is hanging over their heads. It's a story of dreams, devotion and devastation.
